I must have been using this concealer for around a year now, so it's definitely time to give you my thoughts. 

Long story short: it's my favourite concealer and it's the best one I've found so far for dry skin, which is why I have it in two shades. 

I have the shades Medium and Medium Golden. I bought Medium Golden first last summer, and I went for that shade because it matched my skintone exactly during the warmer months.

Once winter hit and I panned another few concealers, I went back to buy Medium because I loved the formula so much that I didn't feel the need to try anything else.

So Medium is my best match in winter and Medium Golden works for summer, and for the rest of the year I either mix them for use on the face or I use both on the under-eyes: since I have raised eye bags, I run the darker colour over the whole under-eye area to retract it a little, then I use the lighter one in the deepest/darkest part of my under-eye, to bring that region forward and make my bags look less pronounced. If you have raised bags like I do, that's a good trick to try.

Verdict

This is an excellent concealer and it's the best formula I've found to date for my dry, 37yo skin so I've given it an HG tag.

It's a lightweight, fluid product with a thin consistency and it doesn't have a fragrance. The formula is rich and nourishing without being heavy, and I definitely recommend it for dry, dehydrated and/or mature skin.

I use my fingers to apply this but you could use a brush or beauty blender if you wanted to - it's just that I use my fingers for everything because I feel that gives me the most natural finish (I think the warmth of my hands helps thin out my base products so I use less and they melt into the skin better).

What I love about this is that it doesn't emphasise texture so I can apply it everywhere. With some concealers - even the ones I like for my under-eye - they pool into pores so I can't for example use them around my nose and I need to be careful of how far down I blend them because I do have open pores on my cheeks.

The product does dry down a little but not completely so you will need to set it if you don't want it to crease. I find that even a small amount of setting powder stops this from creasing or settling into my fine lines throughout the day, so that's a plus.

The best thing about this concealer (for me) is that it's hydrating so it doesn't dry out my eye area. There's nothing worse than a concealer that dries out your eyes and therefore ages you and looks cakey. I've never had that problem with this one.

The coverage is also very good. You can apply a little for a sheer coverage or build it up to a solid medium. The claims say this can be built to full coverage and I've heard some people say it's full coverage on them, but I don't feel it's full coverage on me. I can get a solid medium but I wouldn't use more than that because it starts looking obvious and that's when it will crease (even when set). So if I want a full coverage then I'll use a corrector underneath it: I find this gives me the most natural finish.

The only thing I can fault with this concealer is the packaging. I like the applicator and I have no problem with the packaging in theory, but it does leak so I always have concealer that's sitting in the twisty part between the neck of the bottle and the lid. You can avoid this by storing the product upright, but I keep my makeup in a bag so I just live with the leaking problem and often use the stuff around the neck, just so the leaked part doesn't go to waste.

Overall this is a fantastic concealer and I love it for both the face and the eyes. It's perfect for my dry skin and I'm yet to find a better, more hydrating formula.
